A Magical Night of Music, Memories & Community
The Heights Daddy-Daughter Dance is a magical event that celebrates the special bond between fathers and daughters. It’s a night filled with music, laughter, dancing, and enchanting moments—creating memories that last a lifetime.
The event is dedicated to fostering meaningful connections and creating a joyful experience for all who attend. This year’s dance, “An Enchanted Evening,” invites guests to step into the whimsical world of Alice in Wonderland, where curiosity, imagination, and a little bit of wonder bring the evening to life. Themed attire and costumes are encouraged to add to the magic.
While the event stems from the tradition of a Daddy-Daughter Dance, every girl is welcome to attend with a father, stepfather, grandfather, mother, family friend, or any special role model in her life.

We’re proud to share that we have partnered with Girls on the Run Greater Houston, a fully accredited 501(c)(3) nonprofit, as the fiscal sponsor and charitable beneficiary of the event.
Why This Partnership Matters
“An Enchanted Evening” celebrates the powerful bond between fathers (and father figures) and their daughters — a relationship shown to be one of the most significant predictors of confidence, resilience, and emotional well-being in girls.
Girls on the Run Greater Houston (GOTR) is an organization built around those same values. Through evidence-based programs, mentorship, and social-emotional learning, GOTR empowers girls in 3rd–8th grade to build confidence, develop leadership skills, foster healthy relationships, and find their voice. Their work changes lives at an age where it matters most.
All proceeds and sponsorships from An Enchanted Evening will support Girls on the Run Greater Houston’s programs, scholarships, volunteer training, and expansion into more local schools.
